Sinovac Chinese company seeking money for testing trails in Bangladesh

 The mass trial of a Chinese coronavirus vaccine in Bangladesh has hit a roadblock as Chinese pharma companies in Novak has refused to channel its original proposal with the country.


on September 24th the Beijing-based vaccine giants sent a letter to the international center for diarrhoeal disease research in Bangladesh which was to conduct the trial. now the company was supposed to bear the costs as per their agreement but in their letter, the drugmaker said the mass trail of their vaccine would be delayed unless the Bangladesh government-provided funds. what remains unclear is the amount of funds it would need and why it was seeking funds at the last moment. 

Bangladesh government gave the approval for Sinovac biotech for the clinical trial of vaccines after examining all necessary research protocols including effectiveness and safety issues as per this contract Sinovac was to provide 110 000 free vaccines doses to Bangladesh and the clinical trial was supposed to start by the end of last month while there is a requirement for human trails 10 000 to 30 000  people to get any vaccine approved globally. 

the potential Chinese vaccine is being trialed in countries including Brazil, turkey, and Indonesia.bangladesh continues to report a surge in the number of coronaviruses cases with the current infection number standing at over 368000. the total number of death due to the deadly virus stands at 5348.
