The Chinese government has now admitted to the death of a Uighur man whose family believed that he was held in a Xinjiang internment camp since the year 2017. the government has now confirmed the death formally to the united nations Abdul Gafur Hapis's disappearance was registered with the working group in April of 2019 but the Chinese government did not respond to formal inquiries until this month.
