California and Paraguay hit by forest fires| national emergency.

The wildfires which continue to wreak havoc in California and Paraguay millions of acres of land has been burnt off in California and the Paraguay government has now declared forest fires a national emergency for weeks, California has been ravaged by wildfires and as the fire season wears on and new blazes ignite relief is not yet in sight. 


the weather forecast in the napa valley warns of the return of the dangerous high winds and hot weather this weekend. the wildfire engulfed more than four million acres of this year and claimed 31 lives many homes have been burned to the ground in what has now been called the worst fire of the season.




more than 2500 firefighters have been deployed at Calistoga near San Francisco named the glass fire this is the fourth major blaze in the region in three years and comes ahead of the third anniversary of the October 8, 2017 wildfire which kills 22 people.

Paraguay is another country hit by nature's fury. more than 5200 fires were detected just in the last 24 hrs. mostly in the heavily forested charcoal region.

the charcoal dry forest is home to sprawling cattle ranches jaguars and many indigenous tribes the declaration of a national emergency will now help Paraguay congress boost more funds and request international aid.
